From August 1st to 4th, 2025, Heal and Feed Life Care Foundation successfully hosted the Ibadan Model Masterclass, Polaroid and Model Training — a transformational 4-day program under our Youth Empowerment Program, specifically focusing on leadership and life skills development as well as vocational training.

The event brought together aspiring and emerging models from across Oyo State and beyond, offering them professional grooming, industry exposure, and personal development — all completely free of charge.

A Platform for Dreams and Development

The masterclass was led by Larry Walker, the renowned CEO of LAW Models Academy, widely respected as one of Africa’s foremost modeling coaches and talent developers. Through practical sessions, lectures, and live demonstrations, Larry shared decades of experience with the participants, equipping them with the skills, discipline, and mindset required to excel not only in modeling but in life.

“This isn’t just about fashion or the runway. It’s about identity, confidence, and turning potential into global opportunity,” Larry Walker remarked during the opening session.

An Event with Massive Reach

The masterclass drew over 1,000 youth participants who joined through various online and live channels, demonstrating the rising interest in modeling as a career and tool for empowerment among young Nigerians.

A more intensive, physical workshop was also held for 20 shortlisted participants, who were selected for their commitment, potential, and passion. These individuals received hands-on training, professional polaroid photography sessions, and ultimately earned Certificates of Participation at the end of the 4-day bootcamp.

Real Impact and Life-Changing Opportunities

For many participants, this wasn’t just another event — it was a breakthrough.

Several models were singled out for continental exposure and will be flown to Kenya to participate in an international modeling event in the coming months.
Others were invited for further advanced training under Larry Walker’s mentorship and the support of LAW Models Academy.
For some, this marked the very beginning of a career that could put them on global runways.

“I never thought I’d get this far. This is more than a certificate; it’s a launchpad,” shared Esther O., one of the participants selected for international opportunity.
