This unique program will give 20 passionate individuals the chance to turn their farming dreams into reality. And here’s the best part — it’s completely free.
In Nigeria, agriculture holds the key to food security, job creation, and poverty reduction. Yet, many aspiring farmers lack the resources, training, and access to land needed to get started.
The Farm & Flourish Fellowship was created to change that — by providing land, knowledge, mentorship, and market access to those ready to take the leap into farming.
The journey begins with a one-day intensive training — the Seeds of Success Masterclass — happening on:
Date: Saturday, 6th September 2025
Venue: Heal and Feed Life Care Foundation Office, Ibadan
During the masterclass, fellows will learn:
Every selected fellow will:
Get 2 plots of farmland for one year
Receive one-on-one mentorship from agricultural experts
Join a supportive farming network
Learn how to build a profitable farming business
Applications Open: 10th – 25th August 2025
Shortlisting & Interviews: 26th – 29th August 2025
Final Selection: 30th August 2025

]]>The event brought together aspiring and emerging models from across Oyo State and beyond, offering them professional grooming, industry exposure, and personal development — all completely free of charge.

The masterclass was led by Larry Walker, the renowned CEO of LAW Models Academy, widely respected as one of Africa’s foremost modeling coaches and talent developers. Through practical sessions, lectures, and live demonstrations, Larry shared decades of experience with the participants, equipping them with the skills, discipline, and mindset required to excel not only in modeling but in life.
“This isn’t just about fashion or the runway. It’s about identity, confidence, and turning potential into global opportunity,” Larry Walker remarked during the opening session.
The masterclass drew over 1,000 youth participants who joined through various online and live channels, demonstrating the rising interest in modeling as a career and tool for empowerment among young Nigerians.
A more intensive, physical workshop was also held for 20 shortlisted participants, who were selected for their commitment, potential, and passion. These individuals received hands-on training, professional polaroid photography sessions, and ultimately earned Certificates of Participation at the end of the 4-day bootcamp.
For many participants, this wasn’t just another event — it was a breakthrough.
“I never thought I’d get this far. This is more than a certificate; it’s a launchpad,” shared Esther O., one of the participants selected for international opportunity.
At Heal and Feed Life Care Foundation, we believe that empowering youth is not only about traditional education—it’s also about recognizing and nurturing creative, technical, and vocational talents. This initiative fits into our broader vision of supporting youth leadership, skill development, and economic empowerment.
The Ibadan Model Masterclass stands as a testament to what’s possible when communities, professionals, and nonprofits come together to build platforms for young people.

“NGOs are the conscience of the world.” – Nelson Mandela, former President of South Africa
These thoughts echoed in my mind for years before I finally took action and established this foundation. Every day, millions endure hunger, inadequate healthcare, and neglect, while others live in overwhelming abundance. While it may not be easy—especially for those with wealth—to step into the streets and directly assist those in need, my team and I chose to bridge that gap. We became a conduit for support, ensuring that help reaches those who need it most.
Adekunle Olumide Ralphie, a seasoned entrepreneur, technologist, and humanitarian, founded Heal and Feed Life Care Foundation on November 26, 2024, driven by a simple yet profound belief: no one should suffer due to a lack of food, healthcare, or dignity.
In an exclusive conversation with Derniercri Magazine, Olumide shared his inspiration, challenges, and vision for the foundation, revealing a journey fueled by compassion, resilience, and a commitment to rewriting Africa’s humanitarian narrative.
For Olumide, the idea for Heal and Feed was not sparked in a boardroom but in the harsh realities he witnessed firsthand.
“I would walk through communities and see people struggling for what should be basic necessities—food, healthcare, and shelter. Many of them were not lazy or unwilling to work; they simply didn’t have access to the resources they needed. It became impossible for me to look away,” he recounted.
Beyond human suffering, he also became acutely aware of the neglect and mistreatment of animals, which led to the foundation’s partnership with the Animal Protection Organization of Nigeria (APON), founded by Ambassador Joseph Odika. Through this collaboration, Heal and Feed extends its mission to animal care, ensuring that no life—human or animal—is left behind.
Unlike many organizations that begin with external funding, Heal and Feed Life Care Foundation has been fully financed by Olumide’s personal savings since its inception.
“So far, we have not received any grants or major donations. Every project we have executed—feeding programs, medical aid, and social empowerment—has come from my own resources. But I believe that when the cause is right, support will come,” he said.
Despite financial constraints, the foundation has already made tangible impacts, with initiatives such as:
Looking ahead, Heal and Feed Life Care Foundation is launching three major projects designed to create long-term impact:
“Our goal is not just to provide relief, but to create self-sustaining communities where people can thrive on their own,” Olumide emphasized.
Running a foundation without external funding has been challenging, but Olumide remains undeterred.
“The biggest challenge is funding, but that has never been an excuse to stop. Every little effort counts. We work with volunteers, and we stretch every resource as far as possible to reach more people,” he explained.
Beyond financial struggles, logistics in reaching remote communities and ensuring sustainable solutions remain ongoing obstacles. However, he believes that collaboration, innovation, and persistence will drive the foundation toward greater success.
Despite the challenges, Olumide is hopeful. His message to the world is simple: healing and feeding lives is a collective responsibility.
“If you believe in a world where no one has to suffer from hunger or neglect, then join us. Every meal given, every medical aid provided, and every animal rescued is because someone chose to care,” he said.
Heal and Feed Life Care Foundation welcomes support in the form of donations, volunteer work, and partnerships with organizations that share their vision.

]]>In alignment with our 2025 objectives, we are pleased to report a significant milestone: the acquisition of two (2) acres of farmland dedicated to planting yam, cassava, and maize for the upcoming farming season. This marks a major step towards fulfilling our mission of reducing hunger and empowering communities through agriculture.
This land has been carefully selected based on its soil quality, accessibility, and suitability for crop production. The choice of yam, cassava, and maize reflects staple crops that are widely consumed and have a strong potential for both food security and economic benefit.
Recognizing the importance of scaling up our impact, we aim to acquire additional farmland before the onset of the rainy season to increase our cultivation capacity. This expansion will enable us to reach more beneficiaries and further strengthen our efforts in eradicating hunger through sustainable agriculture.
Key plans for expansion include:
Identifying and securing more farmland in strategic locations.
Partnering with agricultural experts and local farming communities.
Mobilizing additional resources and funding to enhance productivity.
Introducing innovative farming techniques to improve crop yield.
The acquisition of two acres of farmland under the Grow and Give Project is a significant step toward achieving our goal of feeding the hungry, promoting self-sufficiency, and fostering a culture of giving. As we prepare for the upcoming planting season, we remain committed to expanding our reach, maximizing yield, and empowering more communities to become food secure.
We appreciate the continued support of our partners, donors, and volunteers, and we look forward to making an even greater impact in the months ahead.
